The AEContent
Network: AEC Virtual Drop-in Center
Launched November 2003
Workshops Spring 2004
The AE Content Network, a content and resource website, is being designed to enhance the professional and creative life of Boston-city and Massachusetts-wide public school visual arts teachers, both certified instructors and paraprofessionals.
The site is designed to be a "virtual drop-in center" where teachers can find resources for teaching and for sharing ideas with their peers. Members will be able to log in to access private information, contribute to discussions, author and comment on content, and maintain a public web presence in the form of a personal gallery and homepage. Additionally, the site features an events calendar, articles on teachng methods, lessons and projects, information about accessing and evaluating arts content on the Internet, tips and advice about integrating technology into the arts classrooms and effective uses of technology as an expressive medium.
